So at the river, we split into about four groups. Some people had a tennis ball and were measuring the currents. Others had a big...um, thingy and were measuring the elevation across the river. Others had a sifter and were looking for clams, and then some more people were just kinda looking around at the stuff in the river/the people riding a log downstream. It was a good exercise to learn about the river life and how the elevation and currents may or may not affect them.
